I love wikitext. I am wondering though if there is a way to specify a different output directory for generated files (ie. html), and if not, if that is something to look forward to on the horizon.

@Rüdiger, yes there is a way to transform from one Wiki syntax to another one. However, you'll need to implement your own DocumentBuilder for it - see <a href="http://help.eclipse.org/ganymede/index.jsp?topic=/org.eclipse.mylyn.wikitext.help.ui/help/devguide/Using-The-WikiText-Parser.html" rel="nofollow">the WikiText documentation</a> for information on how to write your own DocumentBuilder. (Thanks to David Green for answering this question).

Is there a way to use WikiText to convert between different wiki syntax's?
For example let us say I have mediawiki file and I want to convert it to twiki syntax?

Wikitext is quite okay, but I personally prefer ReStructuredText for a document syntax.

It contains most of the same features as provided by most wiki dialects and it is first and foremost designed for documentation with features like footnotes and named links, special code blocks, etc.

But that's that. At the end ReST is jist another almost textual document formatting language and from the first look at it, WikiText could be easily made to understand ReST fromatting.
